Testimonials

Annie was the lunch speaker at our annual client event and I can’t say enough wonderful things about Annie. Everyone at the conference enjoyed Annie’s honest stories and it provided such a positive ending to our event. Annie has this unique way to really connect with the audience in a way that provides comfort but yet will force you to reach outside your comfort zone. She is making the world a more positive, loving and respectful world and we all need that!” - Jessica Ballin, Principal, Investment Advisor Representative- AIF®, 401(k) Plan Professionals

I am writing on behalf of Annie Meehan. I first had the privilege of hearing her speak at a Social Worker Conference in March of 2018. I was so incredibly touched, motivated and moved by her authentic way of addressing a crowd. She was uplifting, motivating and real. I laughed, cried and re-examined what was really important to me. After attending all of her workshops at that conference, I came back to work and told my boss we absolutely needed her to speak at our fall conference. The conference is put on by Anoka County Foster Care to help educate and motivate our child and adult foster care providers.
Annie was our keynote and breakout session speaker at the fall conference in 2018. She spoke on a variety of topics that she was able to personalize and present to the crowd of over 220 people (social workers, human service supervisors, child and foster care providers) from several different counties. There was as overwhelming positive response from those that attended the conference regarding the heartfelt and powerful presentation that she delivered. When Annie spoke, I felt like it was only me in the room. She grabs the attention of everyone and speaks as if she has known them for years.
Here are some of the responses from the fall conference when we asked the guest to provide feedback.
“Perfect speaker-laugh-learn-cry-a change in my world”
“Engaging, easy to listen to & a great reminder on how to see others”
“That was great, very relatable subject”
“Absolutely wonderful! Would love to see Annie again!”
“Very entertaining and made a lot of great points on how to make a better world.”
“Fun and encouraging. Love the energy! Very inspirational and a great reminder”
“Loved the energy and passion when she spoke”
“She was great! It was nice to end on a positive note after the heavy morning topics.”
“Loved her delivery”

What I really liked about Annie Meehan was her desire to understand our company. Annie has a great topic that is most inspiring, but she took the time to listen and customize her message to our employees. Annie took it upon herself to come early (very early – several hours) to observe the group and get an idea of the topics for the day. Even though we had talked about this ahead of time – she still came early.

I have booked a number of speakers for our company and I have learned that you get what you pay for. With being a smaller business I did have to budget one year ahead of time for Annie, but it was well worth it.

Annie was hired as the closing keynote speaker at the 34th Annual Kentucky SHRM Conference. The conference hosted more than 1,000 participants and is the largest annual gathering of HR professionals in the state of Kentucky. In addition to the closing keynote, Annie also offered to host a pre-conference workshop (after the contract was signed, which is unheard of!). She arrived early, was super attentive and very low maintenance. She attended much of the conference connecting with participants, and it paid off, as she received an almost perfect 4.8 out of 5 score for her keynote presentation. Needless to say, the attendees LOVED her. During her session, people listened intently, laughed loudly and cried quietly but, most importantly, appeared moved by her message. Annie was a meeting planner’s dream, easy to work with and highly rated by the attendees. I highly recommend her.

Annie - thank you for speaking at our event. I have received many compliments about your presentation. The few words I wrote below do not even come close to explaining how impressed I was with your presentation. You have truly found your calling in life. Continue what you are doing and you will never work another day in your life=) I was looking for a motivational speaker via gigmasters to speak at the Mason Brothers Company Annual Safety Banquet. I reviewed many profiles and watched their videos. Everyone seemed to be going thru the motions and delivering the same 'you can do it' message. I was looking for someone that could wow the crowd and deliver a heartfelt message. the 1st thing I noticed from Annie's profile picture was her smile & bright eyes! I could tell by watching her videos that she loved what she was doing. She was energetic & could deliver her message with ease. Annie was sincere and comfortable with the crowd; it seemed like she was not even working:) Annie & I spoke on the phone about the state of the company and subject options for the presentation. Even during this quick chat, I could tell she was connected & engaged. She asked questions about the state of the company & type of business; by the end of the phone call I felt like a was visiting with an old friend. On the day of the event, Annie showed up early and was talking to everyone she passed by. I quickly learned that Annie does not meet strangers, she meets friends that she just has not met yet. Annie has the ability to emotionally connect with the audience and make them cry & laugh while sharing her life stories. Buts it's not just about sharing a funny story with Annie; there is a message and something to be learned about yourself during her presentation. She engages you and challenges you to be a better version of yourself. Be the exception & live a positive life! 😉
