Testimonials

For more than 14 years, Flora has been a strong advocate for children who have suffered the death of a family member and of the programs of the Highmark Caring Place. On several occasions, Flora delivered interviews and stories highlighting the impact of death on children to help raise awareness of the cause of grieving children and families.

On an annual basis, Flora came to our facility to speak to students who would attend an event at our facility to learn more about our program so that they could take the information back to their schools and become ambassadors for students in need. When Flora spoke with the kids she was engaging and inspiring. Her messages were always heartfelt and genuine. She knew how to reach the kids. We were always grateful for her support as she helped us to make a difference in the lives of grieving children. - Terese Vorcheck, Highmark Caring Place

Flora is a very dedicated compassionate professional. For five years, she has been the emcee at our annual “A Night of Smiles” signature arts auction. Flora is very concerned and conscientious about spotlighting the good things going on in the community. We have been honored that she is involved with our charity and has helped us raise our awareness to the next level. - Cheryl Hornung, Founder of Caitlin's Smiles

“Needing to have an emcee for our major fundraiser, Derby Day, requires someone who is not only engaging, charismatic and has the ability to engage 500 guests - is why Flora Posteraro has been our choice as emcee and co-emcee for numerous Jump Street Derby Day events. Flora is always the consummate professional but also joins in the theme of our event by being “in the moment” of the whole Derby Day atmosphere. Most importantly, Flora completely understands and is passionate about Jump Street’s mission and is able to convey to our attendees the need for arts in education programming and how the arts influence our everyday lives. This understanding and passion enables Flora to deliver our message and to ‘rally the crowd’ in support of our mission that helps to guarantee the success of our event.“ - Melissa A. Snyder, Executive Director, Jumpstreet

I am currently running for the 2018 Woman of the Year for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society. I decided to bring our community together by holding a Masquerade Ball. We had the privilege of having Flora Posteraro as our Emcee. Flora was such a pleasure to work with and certainly entertained the audience. With the help of Flora that evening, we were able to raise more than $30,000 to help fund the research to find a cure. - Hope Stuart, Evolution Catering LLC
