Karyn Jensen founded HRC, Ltd. (The Human Resource Connection) 20 years ago to tackle the complex “people issues” facing her industry. To date, she’s helped more than 400 organizations navigate their way through recruitment, employee relations, leadership, and legal compliance.Armed with a Master’s of Science Degree in Human Resource Management, two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Communications from Chapman University, and SHRM – SCP and SPHR certified, Karyn is well equipped to deal with the monumental and ever-changing workforce shifts when it comes to leading our humans.

Michelle Young
As an educator, television personality, speaker, and activist, Michelle Young inspires many. Her persona exudes charisma and positivity, and her message is strong and passionate.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Bradley University in 2015, Michelle began her career. As a 5th-grade teacher, she delivered engaging educational content and also spread her message of self-love and acceptance to the young minds she was molding.
Prior to teaching, Michelle’s success was measured in the classroom and on the court. She showed her prowess in balancing the demands of her studies while making a name for herself as a Division I basketball player.

Mike Oster
Mike has been providing motivational and inspirational presentations to groups and organizations for over 20 years. His background includes working for a Fortune 500 company, serving as an elected official, owning and operating private businesses, serving on a number of volunteer boards and wearing the uniform of the United States Army through his service in the South Dakota Army National Guard. Mike is a combat Veteran serving in both Operation Iraqi Freedom in Kuwait and Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He recently retired after 36 years of service at the rank of Brigadier GeneralThrough service in these positions, continued professional education in performance excellence, over 35 years of marriage to his wife Jo, and raising four kids, Mike has acquired a tremendous background in leadership, teamwork and motivating people. Jeff was an FBI Special Agent for over 20 years, during which he investigated cybercrime, organized crime, human trafficking, and terrorism. Jeff has lectured at Harvard and Princeton Universities and written two highly reviewed books. He is featured in a Netflix documentary about the FBI and he often appears on national television news programs where he talks about the growing threat of cybercrime. Vineeta Sawkar
Vineeta Sawkar is a five time Emmy award-winning television anchor who is now the Director of Public Relations at the University of St. Thomas. Vineeta spent twenty-three years in the television news business. She is best known for her eighteen years at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis. She left KSTP in 2013 and pioneered a new role at the Minneapolis Star Tribune as a video host. She and her family are proud St. Paul residents. Vineeta is a former Friends of the St. Paul Public Library board member and Children’s Hospital Association board member. She is now volunteering with the Minnesota Wild to recruit more kids of color to play the sport of hockey.
